Coconuts for You (yes, you!)

Good afternoon, Apartment 2B followers! This summer, David and I discovered what happens when you buy 10 pounds of bananas and several other fruits for music video props. For starters, whoever checks you out at the grocery stores where you purchased said bananas is going to ask a lot of questions, and is going to be even more confused when you tell her your fruit isn’t for “a luau.” After giving away a ton of bananas and not wanting them to go to waste, you will quickly loathe the sight of bananas, at least for a few weeks. Finally, you will want to make sure every piece of fruit is present and accounted for, elsewise weeks later you’ll realized that horrendous boozy stench in your kitchen is a rotting kiwi.
I’m proud to announce our music video for Jordan Andrew Jefferson’s “Coconuts for You,” co-directed by Lords of Fun creator Toby Moore. The video has been picking up some positive buzz from internet indie radio folks and pop fanatics, courtesy of JAJ (our affectionate nickname for Jordan, feel free to use it). You can download this song and others on Jordan’s debut album Believe in Me for free on his page WhoIsJordan.com.

In more mundane news, I did some site maintenance, like updating links. For a while there, because of both changes to Youtube’s new link system and an update to WordPress’ Easy Tube plugin, the YouTube videos from May to present weren’t showing up. They should be all fixed now, but if you spot anything that I missed, send me a message.
At the end of the month, you can see both David and I in the Lords of Fun series finale. We’ll update you more on that as details are finalized, but you can get up-to-the-minute updates and other treats on The Lords of Fun Facebook page. Until then, we’ll leave you with a teaser for the episode.
