Today my love, a week from now, Charleston

Okay, so that’s not quite how the Ramones song goes. At any rate, we’ve added a new Charleston, WV screening this month! Check us out at the Empty Glass on Sunday, July 18 starting at 10 PM. The Empty Glass is 21+, so all you underage tri-staters will have to wait for another local show (which will happen soon, we promise!) For more info, check out our Screenings page.
Big thanks to everyone who showed up to the Huntington screening! We set up the library for 50 people and had to add an entire new row of chairs! People seemed to really enjoy it. Huntington’s favorite alt-art MC Davey Dramatic was there and gave us a nice write-up on his blog with some interviews coming soon. Afterward the V Club was cool enough to host our afterparty, featuring a rad performance by Sasha Colette and the unexpected, impromptu revival of William Shatner Blues Explosion!
We’ve got a tentative schedule to take Escribitionist on the road. If you live somewhere outside of the Huntington/Charleston area and want the movie to come to your town, then contact us and let us know!
Currently we’re trying to book a show in Pittsburgh. If you know of any venues/spaces that would be good to check out, then please drop us a line.
Tune in later this month for more show announcements, the DVD, and more exciting Escribitionist news!
